Centralized Configuration On Primary Master Station
ClusterReplica/ProReplicator is a software with flexibility in scaling
and modeling. While supports real-time data replication to multiple destinations
and keeps multiple versions of archived data images for file roll back, it is
also capable of automatic failover and allows file server end-users to
self-manage working files.
The configuration for these functions are all done on the Primary Master
station. This design not only brings convenience to application configuration,
but also assures easy management of the ClusterReplica structure.
On Primary Master station, configuration includes and in the order of:
-
Define Replica Members
If the Replica Member is not of the same Windows system as the Primary station,
installation of ClusterReplica/ProReplicator software on the intended Replica Member
system is required.
-
Setup Replication Set for real-time configuration
Using the default templates for MS SQL and IIS Web server files replication
can ensure proper inclusion of the system required files for accurate data
replication.
-
If automatic failover is required, configure Failover/Failback Setup
It is recommended that two network cards are used to separate data
replication and public access to the server activities. With two network
cards, using different network segments can benefit more than just speed up
network connectivities.
